Our Facilities
We have three traditional bar areas as well as fantastic restaurant and conservatory and we can cater for private dining in a further room.
In summer we have pretty gardens and a covered patio area and why not try a game of Pétanque on a summer evening, great fun.
Food is available in both the bar and restaurant throughout the week, lunchtime and evening.
Our seasonally changing menu and daily specials offer an extensive choice of fresh cuisine.
Bars
Within the Old White Hart we have three bars of character. The ‘village bar’ is right with its wood burning stove and large pine table which can sit 6 in comfort, we have two other tables available..
The ‘middle bar’ has four tables and has a real cosy character with its open fire in winter and we have a further “keepers Bar” with 3 pine tables which is ideal for more casual parties for private use.
We have a fine selection of wines and Champagne either by the glass or bottle, and 3 local ales which change regularly.
Restaurant
Our large restaurant and conservatory is available for a great dining experience, this has recently been extended and refurbished but has kept the traditional look and feel of the Old White Hart.
During the recent work we found an old well which is now a feature in the restaurant.
Private Room
We do have a private room off the restaurant for private parties or meetings. This is finished to a high standard in keeping with the Inn and we can cater for up to 50 guests or 100 guests using the adjoining restaurant.
We also offer conference packages for business meetings with a projector, Screen and flip chart.

Petanque
Petanque is a form of boules where the goal is, while standing with the feet together in a small circle, to throw hollow metal balls as close as possible to a small wooden ball called a cochonnet (literally “piglet”) or jack. The game is normally played on hard dirt or gravel, but can also be played on grass or other surfaces.
We have eight areas of play, floodlit on the darker evenings. Pétanque is a game anyone can play – instruction is provided and competitions arranged. Play is from 7:00pm to 9:00pm followed by your chosen meal. Click below to see our menu and packages.
Pétanque evenings or lunch can be booked can be booked from April – October, Monday to Friday, for parties of between 6 and 50 people. Please enquire for details and prices.
